News From Your Governor – September 2021

Greetings everyone,

Time is flying and another month has passed by. We have started making some major improvements to our lodge. Our bar coolers are being replaced with some more efficient units and other capital improvements are planned as funds become available. Many thanks to you our members for supporting our lodge, and also the many volunteers and employees who are making our moose home more enjoyable. You will see some upcoming fundraisers that will be directed toward our project funding, and I thank you in advance for your generosity. As some of you know we were without power for two days during the previous storms and the only casualty was the south hall air conditioner which sustained minor damage. Repairs should be completed by the time you read this.

A member picnic/Oktoberfest celebration is being planned for September 26th. Food and beer will be available at reduced prices. More info to follow on email blasts and postings in the lodge. If you are not receiving our emails, please legibly jot down your email and give it to any officer or bartender.

Packer parties are starting soon with many raffles including autographed memorabilia. A super bowl pre-party is also being planned with visits from Packer players and Wisconsin badger alumni. Stay tuned for more info.

Thanks again for your continued support of your lodge, our children and seniors, and our community. Remember, sign up three new or former members and receive a free year’s dues.
