News From Your Senior Regent – December 2021

Season’s Greetings!

So many things going on in the month of December starting with the tree lighting at Mooseheart on December 4th. If you have never been I strongly encourage you to go so you can see firsthand what the Moose is really all about.

I hope to see you at our chapter meeting on December 7th at 7:00 p.m. where we will have food, fellowship and if you would like to participate in the gift exchange bring a $10.00 gift. Just a reminder to bring your purses filled with lotions, soaps, makeup, jewelry, and a note of encouragement for the Women’s and Children’s Horizon along with donations for the coat drive, candy for the kids Christmas party and your piggy banks filled with any spare change.

Our Christmas cookie sale will be on 12/10 and we are still in need of volunteers to bake cookies and please have to the lodge by 12/9 at 4:00 p.m. For only $10.00 a box these are always a big hit and the more we have the merrier!

Congratulations to Elsa Weller for being our volunteer of the month! Also, congratulations to Joanne Horner and Christine Schneider on being our newest collegians!
Just a reminder that we do have a joint orientation for both the men and the women the 4th Tuesday of the month. This is a great opportunity to bring your friends and family to hear more about what we do! I encourage you ladies to not only be a member of the Lodge but to also be a member of the Women of the Moose for only $15.00 a year more which goes to many worthy causes including Mooseheart school, physical and occupational therapy, Moosehaven pharmacy and daily meals, Christmas on both campuses and other community service programs to name just a few. Besides all of that you will help us make our year and being this is my third time being your Sr. Regent I am hoping and praying it will be a charm as the saying goes!

Sincerely yours,
Rose Mifflin
