Welcome to July!
Hoping all our Moose families & friends have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July celebration.
The Kenosha Lodge will be closed on July 4th and will reopen again for business as usual on July 5th including our Bingo night starting with early bird
at 6 PM and regular bingo games at 7 PM.
The Moose International convention is happening in Tampa, FL on June 29th – July 5th, if you don’t see our board/members around, no worries as they are away
learning all they can to help support our lodge in better ways. Congrats to one of our women moose, Debra Duberstein-Schneider in two ways, Debra
will be presented with her college Matriculant Degree earning her cap and gown while in Tampa, FL: along with Debra was married on June 11, 2017
to Mark Schneider who serves on our men’s board – wishing you both a happy life together!
Our Friday nights are back into full swing including door greeters, great dinner entree’s, desserts and no long waits to eat in a wonderful dining
atmosphere, following with music and dancing in our lodge. Re-visit the Moose and give us another try I guarantee you will enjoy the visit! Want to be
a door greeter or help out elsewhere on Friday nights? We’re always looking for new help! Volunteers are fun and positive people!
Bingo nights are running smoothly and noticing some new faces in the bingo hall – again thank you to everyone who attends and volunteers.
Summer is speeding by very quickly, our lodge is in busy planning the Moose annual family picnic to be held on Sunday, August 27th. Woman Chair
Joanne Hamilton will be fundraising for Mooseheart & Moosehaven this year. She will run the tent raffles (accepting donations) and new this year a
bake sale consisting of homemade pies, (accepting bakers/donations of a pie of your choice) **volunteers will be needed for both the raffle table, pie
bake sale and picnic itself. Contact any woman board member or Joanne herself if interested.
Our meetings are held on the First and Third Tuesdays @ 7 PM. Lucky Lady raffle is happening again this year, attend a meeting, get entered into the
drawing held at each meeting for a $10 voucher to our awesome Victoria’s Cafe – must be present to win. Join us for a meeting as we would love to
see new faces and new ideas! Membership is so important, bring a friend, sign the visitor book and show them how important we are!
