News From Your Senior Regent – May 2021

Hello, friends!

I sit here at my desk as we are nearing the end of April, the end of my term as Senior Regent. Then I look out the window and see trees budding and flowers growing and get excited for the beginning of spring and the new adventures that await Our Chapter and Our Lodge.

On Sunday, April 25th we held Installation for the ensuing year. We welcomed our new smaller Chapter Board and our new Lodge Board that includes some Committee Chairs held by our own Sisters! Now we adventure forward TOGETHER, many different personalities and ideas, as well as many new members and experienced members stepping into more prominent roles in our Chapter and Lodge becoming
STRONGER!

For our Chapter, we experienced our first challenge, before even starting the new year. Unfortunately, our sister Vicky Luebecke who was slated to be the new Senior Regent has had to step down because of health reasons. We wish Vicky all the best as she begins her journey back to exceptional health. We will now be holding a nomination and election in May for our Senior Regent position. Anyone interested in running for Senior Regent can submit a nomination slip, located in the foyer. All nominations must be received by a board member before MAY 4th.

Future Chapter meetings will be held on the 1st Tuesday of the Month at 7 pm and Lodge meetings, which we can now attend, will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7:30 pm. We can’t wait to see you there!

I now bid you all a fond farewell as your Senior Regent, but not as your SISTER or as your FRIEND! Thank You for all your support during my short but adventurous year as your Senior Regent.

We’ll be seeing you around at the lodge!
