Fall is upon us and the Kenosha Lodge is already planning many great events that will be taking place for the holiday season. Halloween,
\nThanksgiving & Christmas & New Years are just a few.<\/p>\n
SAVE THE DATES: Kids & Adult Halloween party 10\/28, Kids Christmas party 12\/9, College of Regents Cookie Sale, Tree Lighting at Moose
\nHeart on 12\/2, Craft Fair 3\/10\/2018, there is a plan for the traditional New Year\u2019s Eve party with the band \u201cThe Classics\u201d in the back hall on 12\/31.
\nWatch for flyer’s around the lodge for more event information. Kitchen clean-up will be held on 10\/7 @ 8 AM. Requesting for volunteers to help
\nout for a few hours and it would be greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n
CONGRATS TO: our co-worker Elizabeth (Beth) Stoyer for being nominated the October Volunteer of the month. She always goes over and
\nabove to help at our Kenosha lodge. Thank you for all you do!<\/p>\n
VOLUNTEERS are always needed at the lodge for many areas including Wed.-Bingo (kitchen help, floor walkers & snack bar), Friday\/Saturday
\nevent nights (if you would like to see an event take place, please contact any board member) and also we need Door Greeter\u2019s on Friday
\nnights.<\/p>\n
October is ENDOWMENT CRADLE fundraising month \u2013 ladies will sign their name to a PINK square (located behind the bar) make a suggested
\ndonation to the fund. Governor Joe has challenged me on who can raise the most donations (men or women) and of course, I replied \u201cGame
\nOn\u201d!<\/p>\n
November 5-11-2017 is membership retention week. We are already making plans to make this week a great event \u2013 more information to follow.
\nMid-Year conference was held in Fond du Lac, WI and all who attended enjoyed what was presented to us. The women had a great time fundraising
\nfor Moose Charities, learning to keep positive at our great lodges and always be prepared for change. It was also presented to give
\ngenerously to the Hurricane victims, and it would be safe giving donations to Salvation Army.<\/p>\n
Moosehaven in Florida lost their pier from the storm but the campus just needed some cleanup.
\nIf you see a few more fundraising events going on in our lodge it is probably due to helping to raise $ for the storm areas of Moose. And your $
\ndonations are very much appreciated!<\/p>\n
