A great month of activity is here, with one of my favorite holidays at the end of
\nit; Halloween!<\/p>\n
October 1st starts off with the WOTM Salad Luncheon fundraiser. This
\nfundraiser will benefit Moose charities.<\/p>\n
October 13th is the kid\u2019s movie night featuring the movie \u201cHocus Pocus\u201d, the
\nmovie starts at 5:30 pm. sharp.<\/p>\n
October 14th will be Ladies movie matin\u00e9e starting at 3:00 pm with Brides
\nMaids followed by Snatched.<\/p>\n
October 15th will be our lodge roof fundraiser, pancake & porky breakfast for
\n$10.00 all you can eat pancakes. Help us plug the leaks in our roof by coming
\ndown and having breakfast.<\/p>\n
October 21st is our 1st Moose Monster movie matin\u00e9e. Matinee will start at
\n2:00 pm with \u201cAbbott & Costello meet Frankenstein\u201d with more vintage horror
\nmovies after that. Your host for the afternoon will be our Green Ghoulie, Brian
\nVergenz.<\/p>\n
October 28th will the joint kid\u2019s and adult Halloween parties. Kid\u2019s event will
\nstart at noon till 2 pm, the adult event will start at 7:00 pm with the band
\n\u201cRelativity\u201d supplying us with the music entertainment. Our very own locally
\nrenowned \u201cBasement Spook House\u201d will be open for both events.<\/p>\n
November will start out on the 4th with a Quarter auction starting off at 5:30
\npm, and we will be having a Veteran\u2019s Celebration on the 11th starting at 1:00
\npm.<\/p>\n
Retention week will be from the November 5th through the 11th. We will be
\ncalling our expired members to get them to come back.<\/p>\n
The whole month of October is our endowment cradle fundraiser. Put your
\nname on a cradle poster and help us raise more money than the WOTM. That\u2019s
\nright Joe and Chris have a challenge going as to who can raise the most
\nmoney for the kids at Mooseheart. So whoever you want to support, the real
\nwinners will be our kids at Mooseheart. Let\u2019s have fun with this one!<\/p>\n
Don’t forget your Moose membership card will get you in the door at all 1500
\nlodges in the United States. That’s right you can go to any of them
\nwhenever you want. So the next time you’re traveling, remember to look up our
\nbrothers and sisters in all the lodges across the U.S.<\/p>\n
