The month starts out this weekend with a Comedy Show on June 3rd. Doors
\nopen at 6:30 pm with the show at 7:30 pm. Three of southeastern
\nWisconsin\u2019s top comics, Mike Salas; Wayne Gurnther & Drew Flagge are
\nperforming. We\u2019re raising the roof to fix the roof, so come down and have
\nsome fun.
\nJune 10th will be Moose races and wild card game night. It all starts at 7:00
\npm.
\nJune 18th is Father\u2019s day breakfast, the WOTM will be putting on a great
\nspread.
\nThe big event of the summer is here on June 23rd \u2013 25th; MOOSEFEST!!!
\nThe Pavilion will be rocking Friday and Saturday with great entertainment
\nand food. Sunday will be capping the weekend with a quarter auction and
\ncar show. Want to help, Joe is still looking for volunteers for the weekend. All
\nare welcome to help.
\nFor the entire month, we will be offering Women\u2019s self-defense classes on
\nMonday nights starting on June 5th at 7:30 pm. Your instructor will be
\nPepperspray Patti Mason. She\u2019ll make the training fun and informative.
\nRumor has it our governor will be one of the practice dummies you\u2019ll be
\ntraining on, I\u2019ll be there just to see that.
\nWe just had a Valued Veteran\u2019s monument dedicated on Memorial Day
\nweekend. This is a great opportunity to honor your families\u2019 veterans with the
\npurchase of a veteran brick, put their name and service branch on your brick
\nand it will be placed out by our flagpoles in the front of the lodge.
\nJuly 23rd is our lodge\u2019s Golf outing at Maplecrest. Sign-ups for foursomes
\nwill be ongoing until June 18th. Sign up early so we know how many steaks to
\nget.
\nAugust 27th will be the lodge\u2019s picnic; we are back to Sunday afternoon
\nagain. Make sure you mark your calendar so you don\u2019t miss it!
\nThe sign-up three new or former members and get a year\u2019s dues free
\nprogram was OKed for another year by the lodge. Sign up our first
\nresponders again as well, all fees and dues will be waived again until
\nDecember. The State and International have other great programs going on
\nas well. Check out all the sponsor benefits on their websites; wismoose.org
