Hello to all our awesome WOTM members!
Hope everyone is enjoying their summertime fun with family & friends as vacations are going on, school will be back in
session soon and of course
the stores are promoting their summer discounts and fall arrivals which means there is not much time to enjoy the Moose
lodge/outside Pavilion events.
The Moose family picnic is happening on August 27, 2017, from Noon-5PM with a lot of events planned. The Women of Moose
will be holding a bake sale of
homemade pies & baked goods, along with our awesome basket raffles (donations are being accepted for pies/baked goods of
your choice – please help to package these items for the sale) if a cream pie is brought we will place in the refrigerator and take
a photo for display at the sale) bring items the day of the picnic. If any family/member would like to also donate a raffle basket
of their choice at the picnic, please do! Also if you would like to help or volunteer a few hours at the picnic contact any board
member or a signup sheet is located in the Moose hallway on your way out of the lodge. Our picnic takes a lot of planning
throughout the year and any help from the members is greatly appreciated.
Congrats and Best Wishes go out to moose members Russ & Elsa (Zukowski) Weller on their marital bliss on July 7, 2017!
Door Greeters are always needed for our Friday night lodge entertainment – hours are 5-7 or 7-9PM – sign up on the calendar
located in the hallway.
Congrats to our awesome bingo snack bar volunteers (sister team) for the month for August – Renee Schneider and September
– Kim Schneider
Way to go ladies! And of course, we appreciate all that you do!
Lady Luck membership raffle winners for July: Shari Beth-Farwell (not in attendance-no prize received), JoAnne Horner and
the quarterly cash drawing of $50 was won by JoAnne Hamilton – congrats ladies!
The woman held their activity meeting on 7/10/2017 and Chairman-Community Service, Pam Burger had the group make
gripper socks for the residents at the assisted living facility next door to Moose Lodge. What a fun time we all had and treats
were yummy – thanks Pam for your effort on hosting this activity night!
Next activity meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 1 @ 7 PM – Chairman-Mooseheart/Moosehaven, JoAnne Hamilton will
host the meeting – she promises it will be fun! Hoping to see more new faces at future meetings.
